That is a lot of lawn to edge!betty
My brother used to pull that on me, until I finally read the book. When I got to the fence story I slapped my forehead and said "Duh!"
Uncle Tom is a gentleman to assist his niece in such a thankless chore.
Some very neat edging going on there.
I don't get the white washing I guess
....here you go Linda....
Hari OmYes... but in this case, seniority definitely has its advantages!!! Thanks for telling us the story... YAM xx
So funny - so who was channeling Tom Sawyer: Who actually began the project, and who wandered by unsuspectingly?
I showed Laura how to use the edger and started her out at the beginning of the sidewalk. I came out later to take a picture of her using it and found Uncle Tom, mesmerized. They never saw me.
I often use this method to get out of doing something.
Your garden is far ahead of mine.
Joanne, looks like you have some terrific helpers!
Were you the supervisor?
Good for her! Uncle Tom probably didn't mind at all, either.
Your weather is looking good too.Merle.......
I see Laura inherited the edger...good job.Jane x
Bwahahaha! We no longer have any kids at home or I would try the same thing :)
Beautiful weather and nice photos!
Your lawn is very green! Love how she got Uncle to take over!
I used to love to edge the sidewalk when I was a kid - not so much anymore, though!
Gorgeous pics as always. You've inspired me. Maybe I'll post a picture of my sunflowers :)
We all need an uncle tom
Out of all my outside chores, I detest edging sidewalks the most! Good for your grandchild. And I have a great idea. I will simply add this to Liv's list of chores this Summer......
Haha. Love this!!!
