Art lessons

I was early to pick up Laura today,
and look what I found.

As she's just not done (I was told), and as
Mrs. P will be off for three weeks, getting a new hip,

Laura took a Laura's eye picture of her composition,
to finish at home.

Mrs. P is as old as my daughters, more or less.
Perhaps they would be back at it in three weeks.
I wonder if I could.
Hooray for Mrs. P!
Laura is thriving.

  1. I think Mrs P. Is my age. I wonder why people need new hips at that age? Nice picture!

    1. I'll guess she has some congenital problem. One of her hips doesn't move at all and I'll guess that's the one currently being replaced.

  8. A good teacher is all that is needed to spot a talent and bring it out into the open. Incidentally, the picture is absolutely lovely.

That is frame-able!!! ...I was offered hip replacement in my 30's. Rheumatoid Arthritis since childhood. I opted not to do it. It's still there, still 'jipping' at 55, and as long as I can keep it, cracks and all, I will... YAM xx

  20. Dear Joanne, that's wonderful news and the painting just leaps off the canvas. What medium is she using?

By the way, the tea towels are so handy in the kitchen. Not only do they dress it up with vibrant color, but they do the job of drying so well!!!! Thank you. Peace.

  21. While I have huge raves for the excellent quality of that drawing--WOW!--I'm also gulping sympathetically with you at the notion that someone your kids' age needs a HIP REPLACEMENT.
