Heidelberg, Founder's Hall through an Admissions Office window.
Heidelberg, a long shot across campus.
Heidelberg, another college building.
Heidelberg, outside the admissions building, with the bonus tee shirt.
Hiram, from the Admissions Office porch.
Hiram, Teachout Price building, a new addition nicely annexed to the old building.
Hiram, Bowler Hall.
The bonus tee. We neglected to take the picture on campus.
Hiram has more to say on the back.
I got a tee shirt, too.
Emily will apply to both,
but I believe she's already decided.
I like the look of both, she looks very happy about Hiram.
ReplyDeleteA big congratulations to Emily.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a nice place and a bonus Tee shirt.
ReplyDeleteMerle.......
the architecture of the college is wonderful I am always drawn to the old buildings and their character
ReplyDeleteIf it's anything like the German Heidelburg, they'll be duelling in no time.
ReplyDeleteYou got a t shirt too? Bonus.
ReplyDeleteLove that happy smile she is wearing. Long may it continue. And I hope she gets her first choice...
That smile does say Hiram.
ReplyDeleteI wish Emily the best of luck no matter which school she goes to. I am certain she will do very well.

ReplyDeleteIf grounds alone were the reasoning, I'd be choosing Hiram... but that's just picky, cause there is 'ambiance' oozing through the screen from both... main thing is the subjects, the teachers and the 'sideline'... Can't wait to hear how it pans out! YAM xx
Beautiful campuses! The brick buildings remind me of my own college years. Where are these universities in relation to your house? Will she live at home or in a dorm?
ReplyDeleteHappiness wreathes her face. Lovely girl.
Heidelberg is 2.5 hours west. Hiram is half an hour northeast. Either one, she'll be in a dorm.
DeleteWhat a wonderful adventure it will be for her. You must be so proud.
ReplyDeleteBoth look beautiful places in which to study...
ReplyDeleteCara was active in the band at Hiram..She enjoyed that part of her unfinished education at Hiram.
ReplyDeleteBoth look pretty with the campus; interesting with shirts given out :) I hope she gets into the one she wants to get into :)
ReplyDeletebetty
Fingers and toes crossed that she gets her first choice! A busy time for you Grandma; Emily is lucky to have you!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting !
ReplyDeleteIsn't Hiram college where some football team practices in the summer? Hey... what do I know?... I didn't have a choice... Ohio University, since it was my hometown. Now... you will tell us soon what choice Emily made?
ReplyDeleteAnd now we wait.

Wishing Emily all the best!!
ReplyDeleteShe looks such a happy, well-adjusted young lady. Good luck with your choices Emily.
ReplyDeletelucky girl, starting on a whole new section of her life. were it not for your intervention I doubt she would be standing on the edge of this particular future.
ReplyDeleteBoth campuses look very nice. Good luck to her.
ReplyDeleteI believe band camp used to be at Hiram.
ReplyDeleteThe differences in most colleges are nothing compared to the importance of a good attitude about studying and learning.
ReplyDeleteFun places to visit. She looks happy!
ReplyDeleteJudging by the grin, I'd say she's hoping to get into Hiram. Both campuses look really nice.
ReplyDeleteGood luck. Hope she gets the school of her choice.
ReplyDeleteHello, Delores; so good to see you again. I have no doubt she will be accepted at both schools, and her choice already is Hiram.
