What a difference a day makes! I needed another trip to Ace today, and what a surprise on my trip up the road.
If you peer closely through the trees to the right of the house, a blue car is just visible.
I only got this one picture; it was late afternoon and there was traffic in all directions.
I detoured on the way home, and took a wintery picture of the corkscrew willow on the golf course.
Tomorrow, a haircut, a month overdue. Be still, my heart.
The house, yesterday morning. Not a hasty undertaking.

ReplyDeleteNot unloved, then. the house looks even better! YAM xx
So, did the wind move the leaves, or do you think the people at the house have a honkin' big leaf blower? :)
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the haircut business. Even one week past my regular schedule and I'm itching to have it cut. Enjoy!
I actually prefer the golden leaf carpet.
ReplyDeleteMy haircut can be as overdue as it wants. I'm never going back to the hairdresser. I'm so sick of tiny snippy bits of hair down inside my clothes itching, itching, itching. I'll keep my hair long.
Look at all those leaves! Someone worked hard to get them out to the street!
ReplyDeletebetty
I like kicking through heaps of Autumn leaves.
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference indeed.
ReplyDeleteHope the wind doesn't blow them all back.
ReplyDeleteI have missed the Autumn walks in the woods for the last 3 years. Seeing those leaves makes me remember that.
ReplyDeleteIt really is such a lovely house - I do hope the blue car means that someone does live there afer all.
ReplyDeleteAutumn's fleeting beauty.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Still keeping my fingers crossed for the Florida senate seat.
Maybe it is getting ready to be sold. I also loved the leaves on the lawn. I would love to walk thru them and kick them as I do. Autumn at it’s best!

ReplyDeleteA storm of leaves. Beautiful, non the less!
ReplyDeleteThe house is too lovely to be ignored. I'm glad someone is there.
ReplyDeleteSo much raking involved... The piles of leaves sort of look like a small barrier.
ReplyDeleteProbably a leaf blower.
DeleteI would enjoy living there. Beautiful. Did you find what you needed? We love our Ace.
ReplyDeleteThose leaves are beautiful, but I'm glad I don't have to rake them!
ReplyDeleteI much prefer the leaves on the lawn than piled up like that. better yet would be to go over them on the yard with a mulcher on a mower turning them into compost for the ground.
ReplyDeleteNow the city comes with the leaf machine and vacuums them up.
DeleteA good time to play in the leaves.
ReplyDeleteMerle....................
I do love that carpet! leaves are so good for mulch if they break down, I just wait for the wind...
ReplyDeleteThat house has some much possibilities.
ReplyDeleteLeaves, oh yes I remember raking them. Our yard on the farm was huge, and just as the leaves were in the drive way, a wind would pick up. Leaves.
Seeing your work on the loom is exciting.
