I think this was Sunday.
No rain, sixty high.
A fellow exhibitor offered to take our picture.
My hands are clutched around handwarmers in my pocket.
I believe we had gone through all the handwarmers by Sunday;
I probably had toewarmers in my fists.
"No, no. Give us a gangster sign."
Whatever. Let me put my hands back in my pockets.
See the blue and white rug at the top left.
That is the one the chatty lady wanted in the quiet man's bathroom with all the boats.
That's the gangsta sign for "Weave me alone."

DeleteThose hand warmers and foot warmers are so handy when you are out and not moving around too much. You were wise to have them.
ReplyDeleteJoanne, I absolutely love your header, it is gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteDid he get that rug? I can't remember. Next time I will have non-expired hand/foot warmers. They work much better.
ReplyDeleteThat would be cool temps to be outside all day in!

You do look rugged up well. Love joeh's comment.
ReplyDeleteIt looks nice and sunny but will take you word that it was cold and frosty.
ReplyDeleteMerle......
I'm often disappointed myself when what looks to be a sunny warm day turns out to be sunny and freezing.
ReplyDeleteI hope you did well, lots of sales. The only hand warmers I know about are called gloves.
I love handwarmers... now if they just had bum and hip warmers!

She chose well, the chatty lady.
ReplyDeleteMind you, you look cosy - is there any chance the handwarmers were baked potatoes like in dear old stories of pioneer America?
You both look jolly well wrapped up against the weather - it is getting that way here too.
ReplyDeleteLooks mighty cold over there!
ReplyDeleteLoved the pictures. The teen girls here love those 'gang signs' photos. Your rugs are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteCold work, but the matching hoodies make you way cool.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to roam through your booth! Would probably walk out with lots of Christmas gifts.
ReplyDeletelooking good there ladies.
ReplyDeleteThe best thing about being out in temperatures like that all day is the relief of the warmth when you finally get into a heated room again ... The gangster sign photo is awesome :)
ReplyDeleteWhen you are just standing around, hand warmers are a must 8 months a year in the north.
ReplyDeleteI want to be cold, I long to be cold, it will be 90º here tomorrow.
