Cookie fairies on their own

I understand more are in the refrigerator,
to be baked tomorrow.

Including certain Russian teacakes, to be rolled in a now chopped
bag of pecans.

  6. OH! A real holiday bake fest. Brings me back to my mother-in-laws holiday baking days. She used to put all the holiday cookies in the freezer in hopes it would keep folks from eating them right away. Never did work well. -- barbara

  7. Russian teacakes are my favorite! Haven't had them in years since my mom was alive. Enjoy! Always glad to have cookie fairies in your house indeed!

Your home looks so warm and cozy, just what I would expect it would be.

Merry Christmas, Joanne. I have so enjoyed getting to know you and your family these last few years.

  11. I could use a couple of those cookie fairies - I love the cookies but find making them a chore.

  12. I like that photo of the snow outdoors and the warm kitchen inside.
And cookies are always a treat.

  16. More than half this story is told in pictures, and that makes it all the richer. The tower of assorted tins, for example, speaks to my own experience...
