I was early to pick up Laura today,
and look what I found.
As she's just not done (I was told), and as
Mrs. P will be off for three weeks, getting a new hip,
Laura took a Laura's eye picture of her composition,
to finish at home.
Mrs. P is as old as my daughters, more or less.
Perhaps they would be back at it in three weeks.
I wonder if I could.
Hooray for Mrs. P!
Laura is thriving.
I think Mrs P. Is my age. I wonder why people need new hips at that age? Nice picture!
ReplyDeleteI'll guess she has some congenital problem. One of her hips doesn't move at all and I'll guess that's the one currently being replaced.
DeleteWell done, Laura. Very nice work.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
She's a budding artist! Wonderful. xx
ReplyDeleteLaura certainly has an eye for still life.

ReplyDeleteLaura is very talented. I am sure Mrs. P and you are very proud of her.
ReplyDeleteShe did very well with that picture! Glad to hear she is in a thriving environment that helps her to use the talents she has! Hoping Ms. P makes a quick recovery from hip surgery!

A good teacher is all that is needed to spot a talent and bring it out into the open. Incidentally, the picture is absolutely lovely.
ReplyDeleteGood for Laura !
ReplyDeleteLaura is doing a great job with her still life. She's lucky to have the encouragement.
ReplyDeleteLaura is an amazing artist.
ReplyDeleteReally like the look of her work.

ReplyDeleteThat is frame-able!!! ...I was offered hip replacement in my 30's. Rheumatoid Arthritis since childhood. I opted not to do it. It's still there, still 'jipping' at 55, and as long as I can keep it, cracks and all, I will... YAM xx
What a lovely piece of work! She's very talented. Hope the hipster gets back soon.
ReplyDeleteLaura is talented. I'm glad she has found a good teacher!
ReplyDeleteLaura is off to a flying start with her art career -- hope she pursues it further as she did a fantastic job on her harvest composition. -- barbara
ReplyDeleteLove Laura's art work.
ReplyDeleteThriving. And why wouldn't she be, tucked next to you?
ReplyDeletePearl
Nice that she found something she enjoys and does well at.
ReplyDeleteIt's coming along well hope she enjoys it for many more years.
ReplyDeleteMerle..........
Lots of talent there.
ReplyDeleteThriving indeed. Good goin'.
ReplyDeleteAnyone who can draw fruit and veg so it looks like the real thing is an artist in my eyes.
ReplyDeleteThat art work is so pretty. I love looking at art.
ReplyDeleteDear Joanne, that's wonderful news and the painting just leaps off the canvas. What medium is she using?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, the tea towels are so handy in the kitchen. Not only do they dress it up with vibrant color, but they do the job of drying so well!!!! Thank you. Peace.
Oil pastels, she tells me. No idea.
DeleteWhile I have huge raves for the excellent quality of that drawing--WOW!--I'm also gulping sympathetically with you at the notion that someone your kids' age needs a HIP REPLACEMENT.
