These pictures give me the shivers, and it is very cold here. But no snow thank goodness, none of the little we have seen has even lasted an hour. I guess I cannot deny-it has begun.
Hari OM All that big snow in the North Americas usually finds its' way out to UK in due course... am wishing you all the very best for Thanksgiving from the foggy, damp and 'fresh' UK (arrived safely last evening) - watching blue tits, robins, thrushes and blackbirds from the window! Love, YAM xx
You are all very kind to think of the birds in the cold winter. I did read that they also need water. I had a friend who would set out water constantly for the birds until it froze and then would replace it with another batch.
That'll bring them in for sure, especially in that weather.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
Great occupation for a wintry day!
ReplyDeleteOh a winter wonderland. I have been filling the bird feeders but not knee deep in snow !

Those are wonderful subjects. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Joanne!
ReplyDeleteGood to see people looking after the birds in your freezing winter. It must be so hard for them to find seed in places where people don't care.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! They capture the mood of the place.
ReplyDeleteBrrr. God and the Birds will call you generous and blessed. You sure got snow in this last storm!
ReplyDeleteA great project for kids to get them connected to nature -- barbara
