Yesterday:
I even stopped for a new picture of the pond, for my header:
But I just can't make myself post it.
And today I got up to another bright and sun shinny day:
Without snow! So, I got to work and hemmed the rest of the rust towels, straightened up my inventory, to keep track of it,
and tied on the apron to begin weaving again tomorrow.
Last thing, I wound the bobbins for the next lot of towels. They will be dark green. They will be lovely. You can almost see them, back there in the blue basket.
After a heavy fall of snow the skies can be a brilliant blue.

I love the look of that drive through the trees, so beautiful! You really did get dumped with snow judging by that first picture. It's always a job to dig a car out after a big snow. The dark green towels will be gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous snow! The blue sky , beautiful nature! Your snow is acceptable- I grew up in snow that went sideways, ice chunks , crispy and hard, tried to kill us every winter- your snow is fairytale lovely.

Snow here today too. Unwelcome as I have things to do in the garden.
ReplyDeleteI always like looking at pictures of snowfall. Not a big fan of actual snowfall. Strange little factoid about myself.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy someone else's snowfall pictures. I also like it when it just stays in the mountains and doesn't visit me in the valley. Good luck with the towels.

ReplyDeleteWow Joanne - such lots and lots of snow I last saw five years ago. For a short while I love crispy new snow, especially at Christmas (and then it's enough :-)
