I have two pears I hope the deer don't get mine this year, this coming week we are supposed to drop below 50 at night so our leaves will soon be all turning. My pear just usually turns yellow, but the flowering ones turn red.
I do love pear trees. We had a little one here in France for years and years -- didn't grow much but would sometimes be laden with fruit. Then it slowly ebbed away and we had to let it go. Yours is just lovely -- long may it thrive!
Your pear tree looks very healthy... and that one red leaf could mean fall has arrived. But I think that if it's too early for fall colors, it could also mean too much watering? Let's go with Fall has arrived!
That is so cool! We have Bradford Pears...I don't recall them turning THAT pretty of a red color, though. They are BEAUTIFUL for about a week in the spring, though!
