Winter weather is hardly ever boring. It looks like you and yours know not to wait until the snow stops to start shoveling. Nice work.
Hello, Leenie. Can't you have your crow back? I quite liked it. This isn't a lot of snow for NE Ohio; I believe the record here is 140 odd inches. But my cousin in Texas...
Oh boy! At least you have able-bodied kids there to scoop!
I so love the last photo: child in a chair, curled up with a book and a cat to keep her warm, AND a marvelous quilt hanging over the chair. THAT is the stuff of memories.
It's quite obvious that cats always know what to do when it snows.... but then, they manage to do exactly as they please all the time no matter what the weather.
I swear my mother has a photo somewhere of me that looks just like that last photo. Curled up in a chair with a book. What a wonderful way to spend a snowy afternoon!
Well you've got built in snow engineers...you should be just fine.

ReplyDeleteOh my! That's a lot of snow. We enjoyed shoveling snow if it was light. The wet heavy stuff was a pain.
