Homework

Must be Math Facts

Bye, Gramma

Each one of them has a real desk with a real chair and a lamp to see by.  We even have a kitchen table.

  1. I remember the days when I could sit like that and do my homework! Not anymore. Give me a proper seat with my work on a table in front of me!

  2. But if they didn't have a desk, I bet they'd be telling you that they really needed one!

  3. Oh how that brings back memories; it would cost me a fortune in chiropractor fees if I tried sitting that way these days. Good girls though, they look very focused.

  4. My parents would have upbraided me if I had even thought about sitting on my bed or a sofa....chair and table was their rule for homework. And no radio....

  5. Everybody knows that desks and tables cause wrong answers!

  6. Some places just feel right to be doing deep thinking.

  7. Most kids spend so much time at a desk it's probably a relief to spread out and hang out with room to move. I'm a floor person myself.

  8. It makes my back hurt just to see them!

  9. Didn't like school that much hated homework even more.

  10. This is very familiar. Both our kids did the same. The desks were used for holding stuff like clean/dirty clothes, empty bags and memo pads :)

  11. I ALWAYS sat (or sprawled out) on the bed to do my homework.

  12. I am so envy of their flexibility. These days I need a desk and a firm chair. Back in the day? All homework was done sitting or sprawled across my bed. And yes, I had a desk and a chair as well.

  13. They look like they are working very hard. I remember when I could bend and shape my body anywhere. Now, not! LOL

  14. Ah to be a kid again and be able to sit in all those strange positions and not get all stiff, not so for me any more, they seem to thrive on it.

  15. at least they didn't have headphones on - also better than doing you homework on the bus in the morning.

  16. I vaguely remember when I could sit like that. Now, I really love my ergonomically correct desk and chair.

  17. Liv does ALL of her homework sprawled on our living room floor on her stomach. I used to insist that she sit at her desk or at least the dining room table, now I let her do it where she pleases as long as it gets done. I don't know why I nagged her so much about it. Silly, really.

  18. At least they DO their homework. Perhaps they aren't used to having their own desks?

  19. I remember when I could bend like that... :)

  20. I always sprawled myself out on my bed to do homework. Even now, I hardly ever sit at my desk.

  21. Those pictures made me laugh -- I used to do my homework on my belly on my bed. I can't even imagine doing that now!

  22. That couch position looks particularly unsustainable! :)

  23. Funny how we contort ourselves in strange positions in order to be able to think and concentrate ! :)

  24. I got an oak desk and chair as a Christmas present while I was in high school...Never used it...Bed/Chair was my answer..Think I sold it to parents who thought their kids would use it..

  25. Remind me to tell you of the time I found my daughter curled up in a suitcase! I've decided that kids are made of rubber. They can be comfortable in the most impossible positions. And good on them that they are DOING their homework! Someone's good training, I think! :)
