I'll admit I've had the same feelings as you about those who "aren't really deserving"... but will also admit that as years went by, I quit making judgments about who should or who shouldn't be reaping the rewards of my generosity. The big thing is... I'm still having a big problem reconciling my grandkids apparent feelings to our generosity... I really know in my heart that those squirrels are going to take advantage of whatever food comes their way... no thank you note written and placed on the feeder. So... why am I disappointed when the grandkids pretty much do the same damned thing? Gifts should be given without wanting anything in return... so I'm told. The Odd Essayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17168404014947652773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1920860526738969165.post-69040399007357187532015-12-10T18:50:09.591-05:002015-12-10T18:50:09.591-05:00We never win in our war against the squirrels. We never win in our war against the squirrels.Mac n' Janethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05732924562630675589noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1920860526738969165.post-37140156934642809192015-12-10T18:49:16.337-05:002015-12-10T18:49:16.337-05:00I'd give you the stink eye, too, if you took a...I'd give you the stink eye, too, if you took away easy eating.

Love,
JanieJanie Junebughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10573607241326291404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1920860526738969165.post-52400455928373078672015-12-10T18:46:13.016-05:002015-12-10T18:46:13.016-05:00Knowing at how organised you are Joanne, I am very...Knowing at how organised you are Joanne, I am very surprised that you haven't taught your squirrel to read ?A Heron's Viewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06563706152609630696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1920860526738969165.post-73819031242546485922015-12-10T18:43:01.942-05:002015-12-10T18:43:01.942-05:00I'd like to see that squirrel after it takes t...I'd like to see that squirrel after it takes the first mouthful of pepper :-(Kathy Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10593849691667606991noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1920860526738969165.post-48476397302210996482015-12-10T17:24:53.432-05:002015-12-10T17:24:53.432-05:00It only takes the squirrel here a couple of days t...It only takes the squirrel here a couple of days to eat the honey and seed block that goes into the bird feeder.
