Adelaide is full of them, there's one near my home with tri-colour flowers as big as small dinner plates. Here in Montreal, Canada, we can get some very hot and humid summers and I have noticed that many of the flowers cannot handle the magnitude of heat and humidity that we get here...lilacs suffer and dry out as well as many other flowers.
