When I was young, my brother and I would make all kinds of waterways in the gravel yard beside our home, and float twigs and leaves on them. Thank you.
PS: A water pistol is an excellent cat chastiser for cats who insist on climbing flyscreen doors and/or windows. A shot to their furry little underarms teaches them very quickly that it is not acceptable behaviour.Elephant's Childhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06650565833097914052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1920860526738969165.post-76353573962506632082012-08-14T18:49:14.830-04:002012-08-14T18:49:14.830-04:00A warm rainy day is one of the best toys!A warm rainy day is one of the best toys!Leeniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17655189620056032790noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1920860526738969165.post-64915365220482435192012-08-14T18:00:14.554-04:002012-08-14T18:00:14.554-04:00The times we have got utterly soaked in the rain, ...The times we have got utterly soaked in the rain, have been amongst the happiest!
Jane xJane and Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08102086552682194819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1920860526738969165.post-2216056709207680162012-08-14T16:33:35.474-04:002012-08-14T16:33:35.474-04:00one summer day, when the grandkids were all still ...one summer day, when the grandkids were all still fairly young, Marc and I took them all down to the toy store where we each picked out a water gun (big ones), came back to the house and then proceeded to have a water war. every man, woman, and child for themselves. their dad even got into it.
