Some kinda women!

That ATTITUDE pin made a world of difference!

A mutual friend took up the challenge.

I'm proud to be seen with either of them,
and that's a good thing,
as I often am.

  2. love the multicolor in the second picture. if my hair wasn't so decidedly brown and would have to be bleached first, I'd do that!

  4. Love it, I've often thought about doing my hair in shades of green.

    1. Oh, the irony. With that snow white hair you could change colors at a whim. With Kool-Aid, even.

  7. Dark hair doesn't do the job. But you are awesome! Good for you.

  8. I've thought about pink or purple streaks, but still thinking about it. I especially like the second picture.

    1. I only know because of Emily and Laura. The new growth must be bleached colorless to take the color. In short: High maintenance.

  11. Will you be next, Joanne? :)

My daughter has darkish brown hair and at one time had just the ends dyed purple. It was very subtle and looked fantastic.

  12. It's not courage-encouragement and attitude. Joanne should be next. As I type that I can just see her attitude.

  13. I keep my hair as it is, wearing the pink in my dresses - but I see the fun they have with their statement!

  14. Maintenance is what stops me. I used to color my hair to keep it dark and hide (at first the red streaks, later the grey). Now I just let it stay white, it's easier and I guess I'm lazy. But it does look like fun.

I used to swear that at 50, I'd have some pot for the first time. Now I know exactly what I'm gonna do at 60.

  22. Lovely colors to stand out in a crowd and get noticed. Something special which many other people will not dare do it. Needs a lot of effort and care.

    Best wishes
